WHAT TO KNOW
BODY WAX

You must have a minimum of ¼” of hair growth before your scheduled appointment. Typically this is at least 2 weeks since your last shave. Do not trim the hairs prior to your appointment

Exfoliate the area being waxed 24 hours before your appointment
​

DO NOT drink alcohol or caffeine before your wax, as these are stimulants and can increase sensitivity
-
You may take ibuprofen if you are concerned with the discomfort
​
-
Wear loose fitting clothing and soft underwear that are not lace (or ditch the undies altogether!)
​

Avoid wearing any heavy/oily lotions or creams the day of your wax
​
-
Do not tan for at least 24 hours before AND after your appointment
FACIAL WAX

Grow hair for at least 2 weeks (no tweezing or shaving!)

Discontinue use of acne creams or oral medications for at least 7 days prior to your wax. Make sure to let me know about any medications you are taking

Do not expose skin to excessive sun or tanning bed for 24 hours before your appointment. Sunburnt skin cannot be waxed!

You must wait at least 1 week post botox or filler injection
-
Discontinue use of Retin-A products 5 days prior to appointment

Must wait 14+ days post-chemical peel or laser treatment

CANNOT BE PERFORMED IF YOU:
-
are on blood thinners
-
have a cold sore
-
are sunburnt
-
take high dosages or frequency of use of Aspirin
-
are undergoing cancer treatment
DERMAPLANE
-
Remove all eye makeup

Remove contact lenses (or bring a case to your appointment to do so)
