FAQs
Q: How long does my hair have to be to get waxed?
A: At least ¼” (about the length of a grain of rice) which means at least 2+ weeks of growth since your last shave!
Q: How long does a wax last?
A: After your first 3-4 waxes, you can expect to be hair free for around 2 weeks.
Q: How often do I need to wax?
A: This is dependent on the person, but typically every 4-6 weeks is ideal.
Q: Will my hair grow back thicker?
A: No!! This is a myth, as waxing actually does the exact opposite. If you wax consistently, you will notice your hair growing back lighter, finer and thinner than it was previously.
Q: What kind of wax do you use?
A: I use hard wax only, as it tends to be more gentle than soft wax. It is great for all areas of the body! This type of wax shrink wraps around the hair as it cools and therefore doesn’t pull at the skin, which can cause unnecessary discomfort.

Q: I got my period, do I need to reschedule my wax?
A: NOPE! As your service provider, this doesn’t affect me as long as you wear a tampon or cup. However, it is important to note that menstruation can make you feel more sensitive. Keep that in mind and always be sure to let me know if anything feels too uncomfortable!
Q: I feel like the hair in my bikini area is too long, should I trim it before my brazilian wax?
A: Nope! When it comes to waxing, I don’t think there is such a thing as your hair being “too long”. However, it definitely can be too short so if you trim it you run the risk of it not being long enough for the wax to grab. I promise I am not judging you EVER, so you do not need to explain, acknowledge or feel embarrassed no matter what length your hair is!

Q: Do you have a cancellation policy?
A: Yes, in order to protect my business I have to have policies in place. You can view them here!
